Codacide Oil is an oil-based adjuvant for increasing the effectiveness of spray applications of compatible plant protection products such as herbicides or insecticides.
The application rate of Codacide Oil is dependent on the rate of plant protection product that is used, but should be between 1 L/Ha and 2.5 L/Ha.
Codacide Oil can be used whenever foliar applications of plant protection products are made.
Codacide Oil is an emulsified vegetable oil which when pre-mixed with a plant protection product (PPP) replaces water as the primary carrier by encapsulating each molecule of the PPP. This creates a controlled emulsion which works to improve the efficiency of PPP application.

|Boom or knapsack sprayer||1 - 2.5 L/Ha||See PPP instructions||25 L||10 - 25 Ha|
Codacide encapsulates PPP molecules which improves spraying efficiency by:
The controlled emulsion that is created when a PPP is mixed with Codacide helps to improve adhesion to both plant and insect target surfaces.
Codacide increases the surface spread which means that a greater proportion of the PPP is in contact with the target. It also reduces evaporation so that the PPP is more easily available for uptake.
By increasing the uniformity of spray droplets, Codacide reduces spraying inefficiency caused by drift of small droplets.
Improving water resistance
Rainfastness of the applied product is improved by the use of Codacide because it helps to adhere the PPP to the target surface within minutes of being applied.
Reducing water and chemical use
Because Codacide improves the accuracy and efficiency of spray applications it is possible to reduce water volumes and as less chemical is wasted, less chemical is needed.
